Sev Trek is a cartoon satire of Star Trek created by John Cook, featuring a weekly comic strip and humor competition. Sev Trek comic strips are translated into Vulcan by members of VALD.

The Velprala dialect (or "Modern Federal Vulcan") is the construction of K.V. and M.J. Zvelebil and a focal point of study for the Vulcan Academy Linguistics Department's Terran Office (VALD).
