Grammatical Proposals (Part 0 Re: New project) Saul Epstein Wed, 24 Mar 1999 12:01:55 -0600 OK. What I've done is pull out messages from the archive that bear on questions of grammar, mostly expansion/revision proposals but also explorations of what existing parts mean and how they work. I have another collection of exchanges between Rob and me, but I'm not going to include those raw, at least for now, because they present an even greater mess than these do. (At the same time, Rob, if there are parts of your proposals with regard to the specification of temporality, abstraction, et al. that aren't well or properly represented here, feel free to supplement...) These are organized first by subject and then chronologically, with the exception of posts involved in translation projects that touch on multiple subjects. Those are organized by project. I don't know how useful all this will be, but I only mean it to be a start. The next step will be to extract from each message on each subject the parts that actually proposed something, preferably the last or most agreed-to proposal. Those will need to be matched with the original grammar, which it might be wise to re-order... -- from Saul Epstein locus*planetkc, com - www,planetkc,com/locus "Surakri' ow'phacur the's'hi the's'cha'; the's'pharka the's'hi surakecha'." -- K'dvarin Urswhl'at
