Re: New project Whittaker, Pat Wed, 24 Mar 99 06:42:00 M This sounds like a good idea. It's much easier to visit a web site and get a dictionary that you can store on your hard drive for future reference. At least, I find it much easier. Saul and I have both mad suggested additions to the vocabulary and grammar, and we want to see how those work as you suggest by getting more words and playing with them. BTW, I think I speak for Saul when I invite anyone who's still hanging around here to please speak up if you have a suggestion. So I think that we plan to first post all the current words+generated words on my web page as a "draft" vocabulary. Then as Marketa can review them, she'll post the final form of those words (in case she wants to alter them) to her dictionary on her web page. Her dictionary is the "canon" vocabulary. As she posts her changes, if she could let me know I'll make the appropriate changes to my "draft" version in addition to adding new generated words. In the mean time I hope Saul (or someother interested party) will volunteer to keep track of the grammar suggestions on their web page, and likewise as Marketa approves them we can create a new "canon" grammar on her page. >Another thing. I created the Java program which does this. It's in need of revision, and as soon as I make some changes I can start cranking out new words for the draft vocabulary. I will put those words my new home page (dumping my current ISP). Details will follow in about a month when the new home page is up. Rob Z.
