Hello, I do not think these things are happening in the same episode; 
Vorick's pon farr and the term for "love at first sight" that is.  I 
remember correctly.  Tuvok explained shon-ha-lak as a strong 
infatuation.  He also spoke of a few other emotions and what Vulcans 
call them.  All this said in the episode where Harry Kim falls in love  
with a hologram and asks for Tuvok's help in learning to rise out of 
love.

As for the ep with Vorick, he does explain "kunut sulik". "My desire to 
become your mate," he says.
