In another message, Saul said that he thought we were already doing this 
for the most part.  I agree, but I think we should make it formal.  If 
implemented, it could consist of all people present on the linguistics 
list.  And if I'm not mistaken, Randall has made belonging to the main 
list a prerequisite for being on the linguistics list, so it would be 
easy to keep outsiders (trollers) from influencing the vote.
