I always thought there was a clear distinction between sentient and non-sentient names, and that the system mentioned should only be for sentient names. I'll look at the cannocal sentient names more closely to make sure that they _can_ work with the current system. Of course, names like Xon for example, would need a new starter created, which should be done by the first person to use that name. Just like Saul will probably devise the starter for K'dvarin.| As for the "alphabet" being very small; It is because those are the only ones needed in the commonly used five letter and S method for males. It is usually with female names that there are not enough characters. In which case you simply use Rob's Modern Vulcan Writing to find the characters.
