Dictionary":

adun   life partner or mate (m), husband

aduna   life-partner or mate (f), wife - Amanda aduna Sarek; T'Sai Perin =
aduna
Sarek=20
 kiran (the Lady Perin, widow of Sarek)

-kam   (affectionate) honorific name-suffix, for someone speaking to a yo=
unger
person;=20
 this might be unique to a teacher-student relationship. When Spock  spea=
ks
 with Saavik, he addresses her as "Saavik-kam".

-kan   honorific name-suffix (elder/more honorific) for someone speaking =
to a
person=20
 of higher status; this might be unique to a student-teacher relationship

kiran   "who is deceased." A suffix to refer to someone who has died - "T=

 aduna Sarek kiran" refers to the Lady Perin, widow of Sarek.

pele-ut-la   chaperone. Capt. Spock was Teska's pele-ut-la. This is also =
a
title used in=20

s'Haile   "lord," a title/term of respect and nobility. Has private
conotations, as well
 as an indication of self-made royalty deserving of the greatest respect.
