Actually, in skimming through our existing vocabulary (not counting
any "new" words), I'm not sure we need a separate way to indicate the
Y sound in "yet." It occurs almost exclusively as part of diphthongs,
in which case it can easily be replaced with <i>. So we could possibly
use just <j> for the sound in "judge," rather than <dj>.
