They will indeed.  As if on cue, I spotted a quote pinned to the bulletin
board today at work, xeroxed from the opening paragraph of an otherwise
unidentified new grammar:

     Through God's gracious providence, a way has been provided for the
     Jukun Language to be written down.  To change a language from the
     spoken form to the written form is not an easy task. The language must
     be *standerdized*. That is from all the different pronunciations, one
     single form must be agreed upon."
