I'm presuming you mean vote by making a posting to the linguistics
list saying yea, nay, or abstain? It's that, or I wind up acting
as a votetaker.

The linguistics list has about 30 subscriber addresses. Eliminating
duplicates and folks whose mail is bouncing, brings it to about 25
individuals. I think about half that number have a linguistics
background, and the remainder, like myself, are along for the ride
to follow what's going on. Based on that, I'd say that feedback of
6-8 folks saying yea would be a "go for it". Over 10, consider it
a landslide. 5 or less, won't pass.

I'm willing to keep track of things. Just be aware of the context
of the subscriber base.

Is there a deadline for the vote?
