My name is Mark Gardner and I am a linguist in the United States who has been studying the Vulcan language for almost 20 years. I have compiled a dictionary and a grammar with the aid of a number of linguists and other friends. The work I have compiled looks nothing like your work. What did you base your vocabulary and grammar on? Much of it is dissimilar to the spoken Vulcan in the movies. I am currently negotiating with Pocket Books and Paramount Pictures to get official recognition for my many years of work in light of the popularity of Marc Okrand's Klingon work. I am also in the process of setting up The Vulcan Language Institute with Paramount's sanction. I would like to find a way to acknowledge your work, but it is so different from mine that I don't know how. Any comments or ideas? Regards, Mark Gardner Vulcan Languange Institute (not on the web yet) --------------4560979778FE62CAEEC1A412--
