Gol=Kohl MDriest Sat, 9 May 1998 23:18:48 -0400 Randall stated he heard the word 'gol' on TV. Have you, perhaps, not misheard 'kohl'? That would make frighteningly good sense, knowing = the word 'kohlinahr'. Has anybody seen this episode with titles? That might help... well... I also vaguely remember Spock or someone going to Mt. Seleya for 'first kohl'. If 'kohl' would mean control, kohlinahr could be 'total control' or something like that. That way, a person who has = achieved kohlinahr would be a "master of kohl". The only other word which contains 'nahr' is d'Vel'nahr. This would imply the meaning of it is 'by choice', or 'achieved status that is not logically intrinsic with one's being' (Wow!) That would make kohlinahr to mean: 'one who has chosen control'. Maybe even 'over all else'? The rest of you sink your teeth into the -i-! Another thing I want to know is how 'kaiidth' was derived from kya (kaia). = Peace and long life, (well, for a hu-man...)
