As you say: Holodoc: could say Cease to speak, Vulcans naturally have a word for kiss. Mastering emotins doesn't mean they do not have them and considerring that they were highly emotional before Surak - they will have all the words. It would be illogical to get rid of old literature. They may just not use them, or only use emotional words in mind-link with their partners.
