Hello everybody,

I would just like to introduce myself as I joined the list some week or so ago.

I am a 20-year-old student of linguistics from Germany. Since I am also a fan
of STAR TREK and Vulcan/Vulcans, I am naturally most interested in the Vulcan
language.
I am happy to hear that there are people who try to develop grammar rules and
word lists for such a language. From this fact I conclude that there is no
coursebook or language learning tape available for Vulcan <as there is for
Klingon, for example>. Great pity... But I will try to get my first taste of
Vulcan by studying the web pages suggested by another list member <www,ludwig.
ucl,ac,uk/st/StarTrek/Vulcan/Vulcan,html>.
